Online Marketing Manager

The corporate office of a retail products company is seeking a top notch Online Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, the Online Marketing Manager is responsible for driving integrated web-based marketing programs that create demand for Company products, establish brand credibility and accelerate growth across all product categories.

This role will lead the development and implementation of both long range and seasonal strategic online marketing plans and initiatives in partnership with traditional marketing and dealer teams.


  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop overall online marketing strategy, creative direction and marketing calendar.
  • Manage the annual online media budget, media plans, messaging, advertising, email communications, and promotions across all online marketing channels.
  • Maintain and evolve Company Online Brand Standards and Architecture to ensure consistent brand identity.
  • Create, test, deploy, and compile reporting for ad hoc and lifecycle email campaigns to existing and target customers.
  • Maintain and evolve our CRM to allow for sophisticated targeting via email and on site.
  • Report campaign performance to Director of eCommerce and executive team.
  • Manage media agency(ies) to ensure optimization and coordination of paid search and display media while ensuring consistency and cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Manage Affiliate Program.
  • Manage SEO via appropriate internal metrics, content enhancement, links and effective management of third-parties
  • Be our online marketing expert – stay up to date on latest online marketing trends and techniques of competitors and/or comparable lifestyle brands.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years online marketing experience in a B2C environment
  • Proven success in creating and delivering strategic multi-channel marketing initiatives
  • Proven direct response email marketing experience
  • Expert knowledge of email service provider (ESP) tools (experience with Exact Target a plus)
  • Demonstrated success in all digital marketing channels a plus (SEM, SEO, display, social media, affiliate marketing)
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics and A/B testing methodology (Google Analytics expert)
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal oversight
  • Must be extremely facile with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
  • Basic working knowledge of html and SQL ideal, but not required
  • Both strategic and tactical performer; both creative and analytical thinker
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
