Administrative Assistant

A South Austin non-profit is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to its team ASAP. This person will assist the director with administrative tasks, coordinate events, and help with fundraising efforts.

Duties include:

  • Support staff by scheduling internal or external meetings, making travel arrangements and organizing travel folders
  • Coordinate logistics for conferences and events
  • Manage databases and assist in maintaining data that contains information about constituents, conference logistics, presenters and presenters’ agreements, participants, and participant stipends
  • Assist in developing and maintaining administrative files
  • Prepare administrative documents as required, including composing and processing correspondence, memos, and reports
  • Relieve the Receptionist as needed, including taking messages for staff, greeting visitors, and processing daily mail

  • Requirements include:
  • 1-2 years in an administrative role; non-profit experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong MS Word skills; ability to mail merge
  • Knowledge/or ability to learn Razors Edge management software
