A South Austin non-profit is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to its team ASAP. This person will assist the director with administrative tasks, coordinate events, and help with fundraising efforts.
Support staff by scheduling internal or external meetings, making travel arrangements and organizing travel folders
Coordinate logistics for conferences and events
Manage databases and assist in maintaining data that contains information about constituents, conference logistics, presenters and presenters’ agreements, participants, and participant stipends
Assist in developing and maintaining administrative files
Prepare administrative documents as required, including composing and processing correspondence, memos, and reports
Relieve the Receptionist as needed, including taking messages for staff, greeting visitors, and processing daily mail
1-2 years in an administrative role; non-profit experience is a plus
Strong communication skills
Strong MS Word skills; ability to mail merge
Knowledge/or ability to learn Razors Edge management software
