Bookkeeper/Office Manager

A Central Austin Real Estate firm is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their team! This is an established company with a positive work environment.

Duties will include:

  • Type and word-process various documents, invoices and electronic information
  • Set up and maintain resident, owner and vendor information in computer systems
  • Assist with rent collections
  • Charge, track and send out late payment letters to residents
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare and audit monthly client financial statements
  • Process work orders
  • Track and maintain vendor, tenant and owner insurance policies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and special financial statements
  • Qualifications include:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting strongly preferred and/or minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience with and/or certification in the use of QuickBooks Pro 2010 and QuickBooks Payroll Module is required
  • Experience with ACH transfers, check scanners, on-line payments and electronic filing
  • Experience with GAAP Regulations
  • Strong tenure
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive, hard working attitude, and great references.
